Scientists probe the brain to unlock the link between decisions and memory

NCT ID NCT06072378

Summary

This research study aims to understand how the decisions we make affect our short-term memory. Researchers will record brain activity from 50 patients who are already having electrodes implanted for epilepsy treatment. By having participants play computer games that test decision-making and memory, the study seeks to discover the brain's hidden rules for linking choice and recall.
