Scientists listen to Children's brains to unlock language learning secrets

NCT ID NCT05217043

Summary

This study aims to understand how children's brains learn and process language as they grow. Researchers will record brain activity from 100 children (ages 2-20) with epilepsy who already have electrodes implanted for medical monitoring. While listening to stories and sentences, their brain signals will help scientists map how language understanding develops in the brain over time.
