Scientists probe how germs outsmart our Body's defenders
NCT ID NCT00339287
Summary
This study aims to understand how harmful bacteria manage to survive and cause disease by evading our body's white blood cells, which normally destroy them. Researchers will collect blood samples from healthy volunteers to study these interactions in a lab. The goal is to gather basic knowledge that could inform the development of future treatments for bacterial infections and inflammatory diseases.
