Scientists probe gene link to heart health after eating

NCT ID NCT03109067

Summary

This study aimed to understand how a specific gene variation affects how the body processes cholesterol after eating. Researchers compared 100 healthy men with two different versions of this gene. They took blood samples before and after a test meal to see if the gene variation changed how 'good' cholesterol particles worked.
