Summary
This study looked at whether placing a hot water bag on the belly can reduce pain and help the bowels start moving again in people with ileus (a bowel blockage). Sixty adults with a certain type of ileus took part. The main goal was to see if this simple, drug-free method could relieve pain and restore normal bowel function.
