Warm feet, calm mind: simple soak tested to ease Pre-Surgery jitters
NCT ID NCT07247526
Summary
This study is testing if a simple, relaxing hot water foot bath can help patients feel less anxious before surgery to remove a pituitary tumor. Researchers will have 100 patients either soak their feet in warm water for 20 minutes before surgery or simply rest. They will then compare the two groups to see if the foot bath lowers anxiety, pain, and improves vital signs like heart rate and blood pressure.
