Hospitals test Spa-Like amenities to boost patient happiness
NCT ID NCT07215117
Summary
This study is testing if offering hospitalized patients a menu of wellness items—like music, art, spiritual care, or nutrition support—improves their satisfaction with their hospital stay. About 300 patients at the University of Michigan hospital will be asked to choose items they want during their stay. Researchers will then compare their satisfaction surveys to patients who stayed before the program started.
