Hospitals try new approach: letting patients choose wellness services
NCT ID NCT06405347
Summary
This study tested whether offering hospitalized patients a menu of wellness services could improve their hospital experience. Over 600 patients at a Veterans Affairs hospital could choose from items like meditation or music to help them feel better during their stay. Researchers then surveyed patients to see if this 'Whole Health Bundle' made them more satisfied with their care and environment.
