NCT ID NCT06282328
Summary
This study aimed to find people with undiagnosed HIV infections who were already in the hospital for other reasons. Researchers recruited 300 patients who showed signs of possible HIV infection or reported risky behaviors. Participants filled out a questionnaire and received a rapid finger-prick HIV test. Those who tested positive got immediate confirmation tests and were connected to specialist care.
