This study tested a hospital checklist designed to help people who inject drugs get better care. It aimed to connect 60 rural patients with addiction treatment and HIV prevention medications like PrEP during their hospital stay. The goal was to see if this simple reminder system could help reduce HIV risk and improve health outcomes.
