Can horses heal human stress? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05703165
Summary
This study aims to see if spending time with horses can help reduce stress and improve mood in adults experiencing chronic stress. Researchers will compare the effects of horse-assisted activities to simply observing nature and to a group not under stress. They will measure changes in heart rate and mood through questionnaires before, immediately after, and five days after the activity.
