NCT ID NCT06610305

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how natural hormone changes during the menstrual cycle affect mood and pleasure in women whose depression worsens before their period. Researchers will give 75 women either hormones or a placebo to see if stabilizing hormone levels helps. The goal is to understand the link between hormones and depression, not to test a new treatment.
