NCT ID NCT07585838

First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a special type of counseling called hope-focused motivational interviewing can help cancer patients feel more hopeful, confident, and kind to themselves while they undergo radiation therapy. About 46 adults with early-stage cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either this counseling or standard care. The goal is to see if talking about hope can improve emotional well-being during a tough treatment.
