Hookah lounge air: is it harming Non-Smokers?
NCT ID NCT04661683
Summary
This study aims to understand how breathing secondhand smoke from hookah or aerosol from vaping affects blood vessel health in people who don't smoke. Researchers will measure blood pressure and blood flow in 12 healthy, non-smoking adults before and after brief exposures in a controlled setting. The goal is to gather scientific evidence about potential health risks from being around hookah and vaping, especially in social settings like hookah bars.
