First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested a new 'hook technique' for giving breaths to obese patients (BMI 30-40) during medical procedures. It compared the hook method to two standard one-hand ventilation techniques. The goal was to see which method works best and fastest to get enough air into the lungs. Results will help doctors choose the best approach for these patients.
