Could a finger prick replace the clinic visit for diabetes checks?
NCT ID NCT06695325
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people with diabetes can collect their own blood samples at home (via finger prick or a device on the upper arm) to check blood sugar, cholesterol, and thyroid levels. The results will be compared to standard blood draws done by a nurse in the clinic. The goal is to see if home testing is accurate, easy for patients, and cost-effective.
