Home rehab tech aims to boost recovery for COPD patients
NCT ID NCT04521608
Summary
This study tested whether a home-based pulmonary rehabilitation program, supported by technology and health coaching, helps people stick with their recovery plan better than being referred to a traditional center-based program after a COPD-related hospital stay. It involved 296 adults aged 40 and over who were hospitalized for COPD. The goal was to see which approach led to better completion of rehab and improved quality of life over three months.
