Smart homes for seniors: can tech keep the elderly safe?
NCT ID NCT02288221
Summary
This study tested whether non-drug technologies installed in the home could improve safety, independence, and quality of life for older adults at risk of frailty. Participants aged 60+ with mild memory concerns tried systems like automatic aromatherapy, cognitive games, and smartphone reminders for daily tasks. The goal was to see if these tools were easy to use and helpful for supporting daily life at home.
