Can home visits help seniors regain independence after hospital?

NCT ID NCT06404138

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a home-based physical therapy program is practical to study for helping older adults regain their ability to perform daily activities after a hospital stay. It involved 15 participants aged 75+ who had difficulty with tasks like dressing or shopping at discharge. The main goal was to check if recruiting people, running the therapy sessions, and collecting data for a future, larger study would work smoothly.
