Could a simple At-Home swab replace the Doctor's office for cervical cancer screening?

NCT ID NCT06611540

Summary

This study is testing whether people can collect their own vaginal samples at home for HPV testing as accurately as a doctor collects samples in a clinic. It involves 500 people who have already been referred for a follow-up cervical exam. The goal is to make cervical cancer screening more accessible and comfortable, potentially helping more people get tested to prevent cancer.
