Can doctors learn home hospital skills remotely? new study tests virtual training

NCT ID NCT07182162

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to train doctors to use portable ultrasound machines when caring for patients at home instead of in a hospital. It will compare a new training method using peer instructors, remote supervision, and realistic simulations against traditional in-person teaching. About 100 resident doctors will participate to see which approach better prepares them for common home care scenarios like pneumonia and infections.
