New home dialysis machine shows safety in small study

Summary
This study looked at the safety of a home hemodialysis system called HemoCare for people with end-stage kidney disease. 25 patients who had already used the system in a previous study continued using it at home with a trained care partner. The goal was to monitor for any side effects or device problems before the system could be approved for wider use.
