First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app that lets people with certain eye diseases (like optic nerve or macular problems) check their vision at home. The goal is to see if the app works as well as standard in-clinic tests for finding early signs of active disease. About 100 participants will use the app and compare results with paper tests done in the doctor's office.
