Digital exercise at home aims to help sepsis survivors regain strength

NCT ID NCT05568511

Summary

This study tested whether a home-based digital exercise program could help older adults regain physical function after surviving sepsis. Researchers enrolled 21 participants aged 55+ who were discharged home from the hospital. They were randomly assigned to either follow a guided 12-week exercise program using a tablet app and fitness tracker or receive standard care without the structured exercises.
