Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a medication film that dissolves under the tongue can safely and effectively stop severe 'autonomic crises' at home for adults with familial dysautonomia. The goal is to see if running a home-based treatment trial is practical and to refine how these sudden episodes are measured and managed. It involves 5 participants who have a caregiver and experience these crises.
