Summary
This study is testing whether watching an educational video at home helps seriously ill patients better plan for their future medical care. It involves 500 adults with a life-limiting illness who receive care at home. Researchers will compare if those who watch the video have better discussions with their doctors and different choices about hospice care compared to those who receive usual care alone.
