Veterans test home video therapy to sharpen minds after brain injury

NCT ID NCT04111549

Summary

This study tested whether a thinking skills training program, delivered via video calls to Veterans' homes, is practical and helpful for older Veterans with a history of traumatic brain injury (TBI). The goal was to see if this 'telehealth' approach could improve attention, mood, and daily functioning, and make care more accessible. Researchers worked with 29 Veterans aged 65 and older to adapt and test the program.
