Zap your seizures away at home: brain stimulation trial offers hope

NCT ID NCT04309812

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation device used at home can reduce seizures in people with epilepsy. Participants use a headset that delivers mild electrical currents through the scalp, aiming to control seizures without surgery. The small trial compares short versus longer stimulation sessions to see which works better while participants continue their regular medications.
