At-Home brain zapping tested for Hard-to-Treat depression

NCT ID NCT06972368

Summary

This study is testing whether a home-based brain stimulation treatment can help reduce depression in people with borderline personality disorder (BPD). Researchers will compare real brain stimulation to a sham (fake) treatment in 60 participants over two weeks. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and if it eases depressive symptoms more than the sham treatment.
