Brain games meet home workouts: new program aims to help COPD patients breathe and think better

NCT ID NCT05140226

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether an 8-week home program combining physical exercise with online brain training games is feasible and helpful for people with moderate to severe COPD. Researchers enrolled 24 participants to see if people could stick with the program and if doing both brain and body exercises together works better than physical exercise alone for improving thinking skills, physical function, and quality of life.
