Home monitoring tested to help transplant patients control blood pressure

NCT ID NCT04364126

Summary

This study tested whether having kidney transplant patients monitor their blood pressure at home helps them achieve better blood pressure control compared to standard office measurements. Participants were randomly assigned to either continue with regular clinic visits or add home monitoring before appointments. The goal was to see if more frequent home measurements led to better management of high blood pressure, which is common after kidney transplants.
