Zap at home to tame the bladder? new trial tests implanted nerve stimulator

NCT ID NCT07264868

Summary

This study is testing a small, implanted nerve stimulator that people can use at home to help manage bladder problems caused by spinal cord injury. Researchers want to see if the device is safe, easy for doctors to implant, and if it can improve bladder function enough to reduce the need for daily medications. The trial will involve 21 participants with chronic spinal cord injuries to measure both the device's performance and its impact on bladder health.
