First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a safe, home-use brain stimulation technique called tDCS can improve memory and thinking in breast cancer survivors who struggle with 'chemo brain.' Forty women who finished cancer treatment at least 3 months ago will receive either real or fake (placebo) stimulation for six weeks. Researchers will use brain scans and cognitive tests to measure changes, and also check if being overweight affects the results.
