New study aims to connect severe hoarders with mental health care

Summary

This study looks at 60 adults with severe hoarding disorder who are already in contact with social services in Copenhagen. Researchers want to find out how many also have other serious mental health conditions and test a new approach: a team of doctors and social workers who reach out to help them connect with mental health services. The goal is to see if this outreach can successfully link people to the care they need.
