New drug tested for Tough-to-Treat blood cancers

Summary

This study tested a new oral drug called HMPL-306 for adults with advanced blood cancers that have returned, resisted treatment, or not responded to other therapies. The main goals were to find a safe dose and see how the body processes the drug. The trial was for patients whose cancers have specific genetic changes called IDH mutations.
