Scientists hunt for clues in devastating immune storm disorder
NCT ID NCT06339177
Summary
This study aims to learn why some adults develop a severe, life-threatening immune system disorder called secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (sHLH). Researchers will observe 300 adults already diagnosed with sHLH over time, collecting blood samples and health information to understand how the disease works. The goal is to find better ways to diagnose and treat sHLH in the future, but this study does not test new treatments.
