First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested whether text messages, one-on-one peer support, or both could help transgender women with HIV reach undetectable viral levels. About 71 women took part and received either daily texts, peer navigation sessions, or both for three months. The goal was to find the most effective and affordable way to help them stay healthy and prevent spreading the virus.
