Army-Backed trial tests new shot schedule in quest for HIV vaccine
NCT ID NCT06205056
Summary
This is an early safety study testing two different schedules for giving a combination of experimental HIV vaccines. It will enroll 78 healthy adults at low risk for HIV to see if the vaccines are safe and if they trigger an immune response. Researchers are comparing a standard schedule with a faster, escalating dose schedule to see which might better mimic how the body first reacts to the actual virus.
