Experimental HIV vaccine aims to boost immunity in treated patients
NCT ID NCT06680479
First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a new vaccine designed to help the immune system fight HIV in people who are already on successful HIV medication. About 30 adults with well-controlled HIV will receive either the vaccine or a placebo. The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and can create new antibodies against HIV, potentially leading to better long-term control of the virus.
