New HIV vaccine booster shot enters human safety testing
NCT ID NCT06665646
Summary
This study is testing the safety and immune response of a new HIV vaccine candidate called VRIPRO. It will enroll 40 healthy adults, aged 18-60, who previously participated in a specific earlier HIV vaccine trial (HVTN 706). Participants will receive three injections over 24 weeks so researchers can check for side effects and see if the vaccine triggers an immune response against HIV.
