MRNA HIV vaccine trial launches in south africa

Summary
This early-stage study tests whether new mRNA-based vaccines for HIV are safe and can trigger an immune response. About 96 healthy adults without HIV in South Africa will receive either the vaccine or a placebo. The goal is to see if the vaccines can train the body to make special antibodies that might block HIV.
