New approach aims to help drug users stick with HIV treatment
NCT ID NCT05165810
Summary
This study is testing three ways to help people who inject drugs in India stay on their HIV medication and achieve better health outcomes. It will compare starting treatment the same day as diagnosis versus waiting, receiving care in community centers versus government clinics, and providing extra support for those struggling after six months. The goal is to find the most effective combination of support to keep the virus under control in this high-risk group.
