New clinic model aims to stop HIV spread in mississippi

NCT ID NCT07446764

Summary

This study aims to see if making HIV and sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and prevention medication (PrEP) navigation a standard, routine part of primary care visits increases how many people use these services. It will involve about 700 adults aged 18-45 at two health centers in Mississippi. Researchers will compare a period of standard care to a period where this integrated model is used to see if it improves testing rates and patient experience.
