Scientists test antibody duo to shrink HIV's hidden hideouts

NCT ID NCT05612178

Summary

This study is testing whether two new antibody drugs, given by IV infusion, are safe and can reduce the amount of hidden, dormant HIV that persists in the body even during effective treatment. It involves 105 adults with well-controlled HIV who are already on standard antiretroviral therapy. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the two antibodies or a placebo saline solution to compare the effects.
