Could your pharmacy give you an HIV prevention shot?

NCT ID NCT07210125

Summary

This study is looking at whether it's practical and acceptable for local pharmacies to manage and give a long-acting HIV prevention injection called lenacapavir. It will involve about 75 HIV-negative adults who want to start or switch to this prevention method. The main goal is to see if people stick with their appointments and the medication over a year, and to compare if checking for other infections every 6 months works as well as checking every 3 months.
