NCT ID NCT06200545
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether a personal helper (a systems navigator) could help heterosexual men in Malawi keep taking HIV prevention medicine (PrEP) after visiting a clinic for a sexually transmitted infection. About 199 men took part. The navigator provided support and reminders to help them stay on PrEP for 26 weeks. The goal was to see if this extra help made men more likely to stick with their prevention plan.
