Summary

This study tested a phone app designed to help young Black men who have sex with men in Alabama get HIV tests and learn about prevention. Fifty-nine people took part to see if the app made them more likely to accept a rapid HIV test and get a prescription for PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. The goal was to make prevention easier and more accessible in a community hit hard by HIV.
