New study tests different support approaches to stop HIV spread in vulnerable communities

NCT ID NCT07223398

Summary

This study compares two ways to help people with substance use disorders who have been involved with the justice system. Researchers want to see which approach works better at getting people to start HIV prevention medication (PrEP) or treatment (ART) and substance use treatment. One approach uses standard guidance, while the other gives people more choice in selecting community-based services.
