Smartphone app aims to curb HIV in vulnerable youth
NCT ID NCT06350682
Summary
This study is testing whether a specially designed mobile phone app can help young men who have sex with men better manage their HIV risk and care. It will compare two groups: one that gets immediate access to the app for 12 months, and another that gets delayed access. The main goals are to see if the app helps HIV-negative participants start preventive medication (PrEP) and helps HIV-positive participants achieve viral suppression.
