Simpler HIV treatment tested specifically for trans women

NCT ID NCT06967753

Summary

This study is testing whether a simpler, two-drug HIV treatment works well for transgender women who already have their virus under control with standard three-drug therapy. Researchers will switch 50 participants to the two-drug combination and follow them for 48 weeks to see if it remains effective, is safe, and is acceptable. The goal is to see if this simpler regimen can maintain control of HIV while potentially reducing side effects and improving quality of life.
